A new pizza choice
We are a pizza family. We have pizza night at least once a week and the kids look forward to it. So having the opportunity as a bzzagent from bzzagent.com to try something new made ourPizza Night extra exciting. Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza is a great change to to our normal routine. It opened up new options when choosing our pizzas. The kids loved the different options and they now ask for these great pizzas on a weekly basis. Another plus is they are reasonably priced. For the price of one delivery pizza I was able to purchase three individual pizzas to share with the family. Since bargain shopping is my hobby this just sweetened the deal. So if you are looking for a new addition to your families pizza night try Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza.

Kindle 3 is coming and I want one.
So I belong to a program called bzzagent.com and it definitely has introduced me to some awesome products. The newest item they want to bzz is the Kindle 3 and I would love to get in too bzz this product. We are a house of readers and who wouldn't want this. I have been trying to consolidate and downsize the things in my house. One thing we have a lot of is books. A Kindle 3 would help clean up this mess. (this isn't even the half of it.)
"The Kindle 3 is ingeniously designed to be everything the iPad will never be: small, light and inexpensive… Now, the Kindle is almost ridiculously lightweight; at 8.5 ounces, it’s a third the weight of the iPad.
And with a wi-fi connection you’re just seconds away from close to a million books. It’s like having access to an entire library from the comforts of your couch. So what book are you going to read?" I hope that bzzagent.com will give me the chance to get my hands on this new Kindle so I can spread the word to friends and family.
So now I just need the awesome people of bzzagent.com to pick me and my family to receive this awesome product so we can tell the world about the Kindle 3.

Little Things the Make You Think
In our little state today there was an earthquake. Well, technically there was an
earthquake in Virginia but we were able to feel it all the way in Rhode Island. When it happened
my husband and I questioned what we thought we had felt, but then we realized it was exactly
what we thought. An EARTHQUAKE!!!
To make things worse we are now watching to see if a hurricane may cause havoc in the area. I have been through multiple hurricanes in my life. Nothing as devastating as hurricane Katrina, but damaging enough. All these chaotic natural disasters have made me think about all things I have no control over. I don't consider myself a control freak, but I like having a grasp on the situations going on around me and with natural disasters all I can do is prepare and hope. I do hope that we are not affected by anymore crazy weather patterns, but who knows. Guess I will have to live by the Boy Scout motto and be prepared.

School is Right Around the Corner
School starts here in 2 weeks and this year I have all 3 of kids going to school full time. YIPPEE!!! Can you
tell I am a little excited. I will have a 5th grader, a 3rd grader and a 1st grader and they are all excited
to get back to school. Well two of them are excited and the other one could take it or leave it. So my dilemma is school lunch. There is no way I can have the kids buy lunch everyday. It would cost almost $40 a week if they were to buy. So I am trying to come up with ideas for good lunches that aren't always peanut butter and jelly. I have pretty picky kids so coming up with something new isn't always easy. Lily pretty much doesn't eat anything so trying to get all creative and satisfy her picky palate is almost impossible. I hope to be able to find some great ideas and share them with anyone who may be curious.
It's Been Awhile
Well I know that the blog kind of fell to the wayside for me. Life has been crazy and hectic and I kind of lost focus. I wanted to really give myself to rethink the blog and decide what kind of blog I wanted to put out there. I am still dedicated to savings and finding the best deals but I have so many other ideas and topics and thoughts that I want to put out there too. SO!!!! I am hoping to revamp Little State, Big Savings and add on Big Ideas. I hope I can expand my followers and readers and possibly inspire others to try new ideas. Wish me luck!
